Is 13.1 Doable?
I think it is!!! My week has gone well as far as training. Monday was hills again sandwiched in between 3 miles. I could tell this week I am getting stronger. Yesterday was 6 good miles. It was 93% humidity at the time; so it didn’t feel all that victorious or fun, but I made it! It took a little over an hour. I feel pretty good about my time/pace. I had blogged earlier about the guy who has attacked two women in our town who were jogging at the time. That is always in the back of my mind, but I change it up and try to keep to different routes. Wilmington is so beautiful this time of year! The humidity will drop soon as the hurricane/tropical storm fronts move on. I still need a good water plan for most of my runs; I’m still working on that! Tomorrow is Pilates with 9-10 miles on Saturday! Woo-hoo!!

13.1 is SO doable for you!! When are you planning to do it? I’m at my 7 mile mark now, running a half on October 19th. Go for it, and best of luck to you!

I can’t say I enjoyed running with you Saturday but it was good to put on the running shoes. I am very impressed with your running. You left me in the dust. I may never get up to 13 miles but I plan on building up to a strong 3 miles and maybe even up to 5 one day. Your doing great. Keep it up.
